Tesla Motors is the newest store to call Easton “home.”
Tesla Motors will be opening its first store in Ohio on December 6th at Easton Town Center.
Based out of Palo Alto, California, Tesla Motors aims to accelerate the world’s transition to electric mobility. Tesla has already sold over 2,300 Roadsters, the world’s first fully electric sports car, and astounds audiences with its Model S, the first premium electric sedan.
Since its founding in 2003, Tesla has not stopped making headlines in the automotive world. Its innovations in electric luxury and sports cars have solidified it’s reputation as the world’s leading manufacturer of high-end electric vehicles.
The Easton Tesla store will feature the all-electric Model S design, which recently received 99 out of 100 points in a Consumer Reports owner-satisfaction survey, and was also named Car of the Year by Motor Trend magazine.
The Model S has many unique features, including door handles that pop in and out based upon if the car is parked or in motion on the road, key-less entry, and seating for up to seven people. The battery within the Model S is able to travel 265 miles on a full charge.
Since the store will specifically feature the Model S design, the Tesla store setup will be similar to that of an Apple store instead of a dealership. The Tesla store at Easton will be 2,600 square feet and located next to Coldwater Creek in the North District.
