You know that Easton means great shopping.

But, did you know about these freebies and amenities?!

From borrowing a book or an umbrella – for free! – to checking out the train, Easton offers so much more than just great shopping.  Whether entertaining a little one, or transporting you from one end of Easton Town Center to the other, these amenities and perks can be found throughout the property.

Borrow a Book

book-stand

Swing by the interior fountain area of the Easton Station Building and grab a book off the shelf. Have an impromptu story time with your favorite little tyke. The books are courtesy of the Friends of the Columbus Metropolitan Library and the Easton Community Foundation. Don’t worry if you don’t have time to finish the story. Take it home and return it on your next visit to Easton!

Calling all Train Enthusiasts

The Easton Express Railway is a custom designed garden railway, beautifully landscaped with three levels of track and several tunnels. It even has a pond. Let your imagination ride the rails to the land of make believe.

Located in the Town Square by Brio Tuscan Grille, the trains run 365 days a year – weather permitting. Swing by often, as the vista changes with the seasons and the holidays.

The district for family fun

american-girl-fenlon

Fenlon Square is home to an enchanting, interactive (read: child-friendly) fountain resplendent with sculptures of frogs, dragonflies, lily pads, turtles, fish and beetles. Children can push buttons to activate colored lights and spouting water, while every few minutes a magical cloud of mist is released. It’s a lovely spot, guaranteed to capture the imaginations of children of all ages. The colored lights are especially pretty after dark.

Looking for Parking?

Two of our parking garages – Fenlon Square Garage and East Parking Garage – are both equipped with state-of-the-art lights that indicate available parking spaces in each row. No more endless circling, searching for a parking spot!

There are also two family friendly restrooms on the first floor of the Felon Square Garage – absolutely brilliant.

While you’re at the desk, be sure to inquire about Easton’s Lil VIPs program to see which Easton Town Center tenants have special offers for the twelve and under crowd.

Need an Umbrella?

umbrella

You need not be concerned if the weather changes suddenly because Easton Town Center has umbrellas. You can borrow one while you’re visiting Easton or you can buy one for five dollars to take home. All proceeds go to the Easton Community Foundation’s Change for Charity program. You will find the umbrellas, which were designed by students at the Columbus College of Art and Design, at the entrances of the Station Building and at various stores and businesses all around the property.  Just enjoy during your stay and drop off a nearby umbrella stand on the way to your car.  Of course, they can be purchased at the Guest Services Desk for $5 cash if you’d rather keep for another rainy day.

The Easton Trolley

Hop on the Easton Trolley and take the scenic route around the Town Center.  Kids love to ride the old fashioned San Francisco style trolley!

The ride is free and it makes three stops: One is in front of Brio Tuscan Grille, the second is in front of Bon Vie, and the third takes you to the new Easton Gateway district.

The trolley runs during the following times, April through December:

Wednesday-Saturday: 1:00 PM-8:00 PM

Sunday: 12:00 PM- 6:00 PM

The Trolley retires for the winter months of January, February, and March.
